A vintage large original railway map of India, professionally mounted in a brushed metal frame. 
 
One of our favourites and previously part of our personal collection, we acquired this years ago. We don’t know much about it, other than it’s the eighth edition, dating from 1975, and it was commissioned by the Government of India. Based on the ageing and huge size, we’re pretty sure it’s an original, mapping out thousands of miles of railways in great detail. We haven’t managed to find any others online, however we’ve seen earlier editions. It’s likely to be a very rare piece, especially in this condition. 
 
The size of it means it deserves to be the feature of the space, and you could even get away with resting it on the floor if you don’t want to wall mount it. 
 
One we’re very sad to let go but can’t wait to see where it ends up!
