A vintage armchair in a retro red patterned cord fabric, dating from the late 1980s. We’re unsure of the maker, however we do know that it was purchased in Fenwick in Newcastle from new by the original owner. 
 
This is possibly one of the most comfortable chairs we’ve ever sat in (we were very tempted to keep it ourselves). You’ll be fighting over who gets to sit in it! 
 
It’s a real statement piece of furniture, and its original red fabric is undeniably 80s, yet still so fresh and relevant today. We’ve given it a deep clean and we think it’ll last quite a while longer due to the durable material. 
 
We can imagine this against a fresh white or pale backdrop, adding a big pop of colour, or nestled amongst tropical houseplants like palms or monsteras.
