A vintage metal coat and hat stand, first designed by Tord Bjorklund for IKEA in the 1980s. 
 
The Rigg coat stand originally was designed in a range of finishes. One of the most famous is the multicoloured finish! This example is finished with a silver colour and likely dates from the late 1980s or mid 1990s. The finish is the same as on other Postmodern 1990s IKEA products we've stocked, such as Niels Gammalsgaard's Moment table and Enetri shelving. 
 
This is a stylish vintage piece which is becoming increasingly collectable. Coat stands are a great way of saving space, especially if you don't benefit from cupboard space or a large hallway! It would easily complement most interior styles.
