A set of 6 vintage beech wood french chairs in a Brutalist style, made by French company “Self”, likely in the 1960s. 
 
This set of 6 chairs features chunky solid beech frames in a honey toned finish. The edges have been rounded off slightly to soften them, however we think they still have a very brutalist look to them! The backs of the chairs follow suit, with chamfered edges creating a distinctive look. 
 
The chairs are nice and wide making them really comfortable. They require re-upholstery, included in the price. We think they’d look great in an organic, natural tone but we’ll let you do the choosing! 
 
Pair these with a teak or chrome mid century dining table, or even a contemporary oak dining table. A rare chance to own some interesting French chairs which don’t often come up in the UK. 
 
The price includes a deep clean of the frames and renewal of the upholstery with one of our in house fabrics. If you’d like a bespoke fabric, please get in touch. They’ll be ready for delivery in May 2024.
