Mid century teak radiogram cabinet / chest
  • Mid century teak radiogram cabinet / chest

A mid century teak cabinet / storage chest, formerly a radiogram, originally made by Pye of Cambridge.

This superb piece of furniture was formerly a radiogram. Upon acquisition the radiogram was not working, but we loved the stylish modernist design of the piece. We decided to remove the internals to create two storage compartment underneath the lid, perfect for things like remotes and games, or even use it as a blanket box.

We've retained the original control panel in the centre as a nod to its past.

With the lid closed, it can function as a stylish sideboard. We love the slatted teak frontage which still has the original speakers behind it!

We've previously sold this type of cabinet before and it's easy to see why they're popular as they're very practical.
