A mid century teak extending dining table, designed by John Herbert for Younger Furniture in the 1960s.

Younger were renowned for their high quality, well built and stylish furniture, taking clear design cues from Scandinavian furniture styling. Their furniture was amongst the best quality of it's kind and was sold through more expensive retailers such as Heals.

This stylish table is solid Afromosia teak to the frame with a teak veneer to the top. It can be used as a fairly compact rectangular dining table, or the two extension leaves can be pulled out from underneath to make it a much larger family dining table. Perfect table for family and friends to enjoy no matter what the occasion.

The top and leaves come off for transport, although the main frame itself doesn't dismantle.

The item includes full refurbishment to get it back to it's best, although we'll consider selling it as it is - make us an offer!
