We're not sure of the maker, however it's clearly in the style of Merrow Associates and likely dates from the mid 1970s based on the use of chrome and bright orange ceramic tiles.
Chrome was often used on super-minimal, high end pieces of furniture. It's unusual to see it combined with the use of vibrant ceramic tiles like these, which adds some warmth and arguably allows the table to feel at home in a broader range of settings.
We could imagine this both adding a pop of colour to a minimal, monochrome interior, while also complementing a more vibrant, colourful room setting.
