A mid century chromed steel dining table and matching 6 upholstered chairs designed by Richard Young for Merrow Associates in the 1970s. 
 
The "Boulton" table features the original clear glass top with intricate chromed steel design which the chairs fit snugly into. The chairs are the rare 3 legged "Starley 168u" model upholstered in an oatmeal coloured fabric. They are all carver style chairs with armrests which fit perfectly under the table. 
 
Merrow were the Rolls Royce of mid century furniture design. It was made to order and of a high quality (the table alone marketed at around £3000 in today's money when new!).
