Mid century chrome and teak armchair

Mid century chrome and teak armchair

A mid century chrome framed upholstered armchair with teak trims and dusky pink fabric.

The brand is unknown, however based on the materials it’s likely to date from the mid-late 1970s. We’re unsure of the origin too, however we’d deduce that it’s likely from mainland Europe due to the construction, which allows the frame to be partially dismantled, unlike British furniture.

The chair featured upholstered arms, seat pad and back rest, freshly reupholstered in a durable dusky pink fabric. The chrome and the teak is a classic high end mid century look, while the chunky cylindrical arms give the chair some real presence. We've freshened the frame up, especially some of the wood to give it some vibrancy back. There is some patina to a couple of the chrome legs, which is not uncommon for pieces of this age, however the chair actually suits it's patina fairly well!

Chairs that look this good don’t come up very often, and much more affordable than buying the equivalent designer chair new. It's the perfect standout accent chair.

The price also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard.
